Bringing all students back to class, including high school students who have only attended classes for a few months in the last two years, is a priority, but the controversy that has emerged in recent days shows how complex this is.
There are two major obstacles, which to date have led headmasters and school unions to ask not to return to 100 per cent attendance and which will most likely still be present in September: classes that are too large (even with 28 or 30 pupils) and classrooms that are too small.
